Hope and Change?

Barack Hussein Obama had a “private” conversation that was leaked (and well it should be) that quoted him saying, “It’s part of the reason why the response to this global crisis has been so anemic and spotty. It would have been bad even with the best of governments. It has been an absolute chaotic disaster when that mind-set — of ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘to heck with everybody else’ — when that mind-set is operationalized in our government.”

Anemic and spotty? Chaotic disaster? Best of governments? Barack, you’re too classy for your own good. Can’t you just come out and say, “We’re fucked!?” Everyone, including you, is still living in February. No need to worry about “tribalism.” The new paradigm will unite us, and the world. The bison always rejoin the herd after the “chaotic disaster” of a wolf attack.

Obama must be fed up to broach criticizing the dipshit-in-chief. He’s been respectful about criticizing his successor to this point. I pulled those quotes from the New York Times and the rest of the reporter’s story was spent wringing hands over Obama’s critique. Was it a sign that Obama was going to start lambasting the dipshit on a regular basis?

I’ll repeat: Everyone, you, me, Obama, and especially the media, are living in February. Obama should critique Trump. And, unlike February, every damned one of us should vote.

I’m a Cuomosexual. New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, is dreamy. I dream of him running the country with intelligence, decisive action, and empathy that I am proud of my nation. Then I wake up and return to the Donald bitching about “Russia, Russia, Russia.” He’s so February — 1970. Can someone ban him from binging Brady Bunch reruns? He doesn’t understand that Jan needed help with her inferiority complex.

Cuomo is an establishment Democrat. Kicked Bernie off the New York ballot? What a dick. Yet, I want him. He can complete a sentence. He knows words that aren’t “great.” He’s a human being rather than a holographic image of Princess Leia — on acid. (Thanks, Netflix.) The Democratic Party sucks. Cuomo sucks in the political sense.

Common sense tells me we’d better nominate him.

The new paradigm needs a nimble leader. The virus is way ahead of us. To Trump’s credit, Biden really is sleepy. (See, I can agree with the Donald.) This pandemic is far too much for a 78-year-old. The DNC must nominate a younger establishment politician that isn’t Biden. It’s likely planning it right now. Knowing the tone deaf Dems, they’ll nominate Hillary.

At the same time, the world is being introduced to the new paradigm and the establishment may not remain so established. No one knows what the result of Trump taking the country “herd” will be. One thing is for sure, the new paradigm won’t be last February. It won’t be the same this August. The world is being born anew. Keep up. Watch for Biden (and Bernie) to cede their delegates to someone that isn’t Sleepy Joe.

Gavin Newsome? Andrew Cuomo? Jay Inslee? I don’t care who it is. The Democrats have to nominate a candidate who can walk and chew gum. He must be able to handle extreme amounts of stress. He/she (Elizabeth/Kamala?) has to be ready to become the wartime president we needed yesterday.

There are relationships that need mending. There are agencies that need to be restaffed, and funded, no matter the cost. There is a world that needs America to lead. The new paradigm needs leadership that can adjust to what is bombarding it.

In the dismal meantime, Trump is tweeting about OBAMAGATE! He’s creating a new villain to assure his base can continue screaming “Lock someone up!” People are dying at a rate not seen in 100 years, and a new political foil is all this twit thinks about? He’s transparent reality TV with a predictable ending. You’d change the channel, if you could. If Obama won’t say it, I will: We’re fucked!

Does Obama have the right to bitch about President Donald J. Dipshit? Is he an American citizen? Most of us would agree that he is. Obama can complain if he wants. Can he run for president? Not according to the old paradigm, but the rules are changing every day. A slight tweak to the “guidelines” and Obama could be the nominee for president. Most people agree, no matter what side of aisle they identify with, the Constitution is a guideline these days.

Nothing would bring more happiness in my life than Trump losing to Obama.

Be cautious. It’s every man for himself.

Physically distance, socially unite, and stay healthy.
